About Dry Eye Disease

Dry Eye is a common disease that can cause symptoms such as burning, itching, blurry vision, and red eyes. Over 30million Americans suffer from Dry Eye Disease. It is caused by the eye not producing enough tears or tear ducts not working correctly. Some who may be more at risk than others are people ages 50 years or older, contact lens wearers, people with autoimmune disorders such as Lupus or Sjogren syndrome, and people who suffer from skin diseases Such as Rosacea or Eczema.

At Dr. Peter Pham and Associates, through our comprehensive exam, we check every patient for Dry Eye Disease and offer several treatments.
